From Harvest to Market

Every Harvest Deserves a Better Market

MAMCU connects member farmers with dependable markets, transparent trade and timely payments.

About MAMCU

A cooperative union connecting farmers to markets

Masasi-Mtwara Cooperative Union (MAMCU) was registered in 1995 after the former Mtwara Cooperative Union was split to bring services closer to members. Today MAMCU serves AMCOS across Mtwara, Masasi, Nanyumbu and neighbouring councils, linking farmers to reliable markets for cashew, sesame, groundnuts, green gram, pigeon peas and cowpeas through fair trade and transparent payments.

How We Work

From Farm to Market

Four steps connecting farmers to markets, quality management and fair payment.

MAMCU works closely with member farmers from the farm to the market, supporting crop production, quality management, storage and marketing.

Our cooperative model promotes transparency, fair payments and reliable market access, while our projects advance infrastructure, value addition and sustainable growth.
